Reports are dealt with by our contact centre in exactly the same way whether you report it online or by telephone.

If you've witnessed or been victim of crime please report it to us.

You'll need to provide:

  • Your name and date of birth,
  • an email address, and
  • a contact number and address.

If you want to report a crime to Police without your name or contact details attached, please use Crimestoppers or call them on 0800 555 111.

If the suspect has clearly left something at the scene; such as clothing, blood, any other bodily fluids, discarded items, obvious fingerprints or footprints, or has made a mess searching please take photos. Try not to touch things which might have finger prints on them and put anything that doesn't belong to you in a paper bag, then feel free to tidy up and continue with your life.
